Full time furniture finisher, $20.80 -$23.00 per hour, 40 hours per week (Early Morning)

Work site environment: Noisy, Odours, Dusty
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
-Inspect furniture surface for rough areas, imperfections, and defects.
-Smoothen the surface of a wooden object using various equipment, such as sandpaper, wax, wood filler, etc.
-Prepare, sand and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts using hand or power tools as needed.
-Preform related finishing duties, such as matching and applying stain color, assemble materials to complete furniture articles, install hardware (Hinges, knobs, handles etc.) and many more.
-Maintain the equality of finishing and follow workplace procedures and instructions.
-Maintain equipment, including cleaning sanding tools and replacing parts as necessary, spray gun, etc.
-Keep work area clean and organized.
-Follow safety procedures to avoid accidents and injuries.
-Record production data and complete necessary paperwork.
-perform other related duties as assigned.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for long periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeing, ability to distinguish between colours.
