WE ARE HIRING

We are Wok Etcetera Restaurant, a Chinese styled restaurant located at 367 Champlain St, Dieppe, New Brunswick.

We are searching for a head chef to add to join our workforce in the kitchen.

You must have at least 2 years of solid experiences as a head chef or similar position in various Szechuan and Mandarin food styles. Any educational diplomas in the culinary arts and minimum secondary degree is a requirement for the position.

Salary is 30$/hr for an approximate 35 hrs/ week.

Your main duties: Menu Planning and Development, developing recipes, and adjusting menus based on availability and cost, supervising kitchen staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring all staff members adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, overseeing stock levels, ordering supplies, managing storage, and minimizing food waste, ensuring food preparation meets quality standards, overseeing plating and presentation, and maintaining consistency, managing food costs, budgeting, and ensuring the kitchen operates within budget and other administrative tasks.
