We’re looking for a Home child care provider

Title: Home child care provider

Work Location: Same as business address

Wage: $19/ per hour

Number of Work Hours: 30-40 hours / per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Vacation reimbursement: 4% of gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation

Job Descriptions:

 

·          Provide supervision and care for children in the employer’s home

·          Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children and assist with light housekeeping as needed

·          Monitor children’s routines, including mealtimes and rest periods, according to the employer’s instructions

·          Ensure the home environment remains safe and healthy for the children

·          Guide children in maintaining proper personal hygiene

·          Accompany children to and from school and various appointments

·          Keep records of daily activities and any relevant health information for each child, when required

·          Apply appropriate discipline methods as directed by the parents

 

Requirements:

 

·          No formal education is required

·          No previous work experience is required but an asset.

·          Criminal background check is required.

·          First aid and CPR certification and completion of a training program in child care or in a related field is an asset.
