Overview

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accurate accounting practices. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Tasks:

  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Maintain and balance multiple accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Update and manage general ledgers.
  • Record daily financial transactions, post journal entries, and regularly reconcile accounts.
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Prepare trial balances, financial statements, and other essential documents to support the company’s financial activities.
  • Generate other accounting and financial reports.
  • Compile and analyze data to ensure the accuracy and relevance of financial and statistical information.
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Manage office supplies, maintain inventory, and provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Above high school diploma
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in bookkeeping or related field
