Job Description:

Position: Home Child Care Provider

Employer: Romo’s residence

Home Address: 606-1325 Rolston Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 0M2

Number of Vacant: 1

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Language: English

Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job Duties:

– Maintain safe environment for children.

– Supervise and care for a child at employer’s own residence.

– Prepare meals for children and serve the meal. Additionally, supervise meal time.

– Provide age-appropriate daily activities for each child.

– Support to develop children’s emotional and social development.

– Follow the daily routine as instructed (including rest time) by parents.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: No formal education is required.

– Experience: Childcare experience is not essential, but an asset.

– Criminal record check is required.

– First Aid Certificate is required.
