Caregiver Provider – Private Home
My brother and I work full-time, and we are seeking a caregiver to help care for our children, who are 5 & 6 years old.

Job Duties:
· Tend to the emotional well-being of our children
· Supervise and care for our children
· Prepare and serve nutritious meals
· Organize activities such as games and outings for our children
· Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
· Take our children to and from school and to appointments when necessary
· Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
· Prepare our children for rest periods
· Bathe, dress and feed our children
· Discipline our children according to the methods requested by us, the parents
· Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties for our children
· Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
Skills Required:
· Minimum 1 Year paid full-time work experience as a caregiver within the last 3 years
· Must have good and verifiable references for childcare
· Completion of High School, minimum 12 years of total education or equivalent
· A 6-month in-class caregiver training course is considered an asset
· Good interpersonal and communication skills in English

Work Setting:
Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. NOTE: This is NOT a condition of employment.
Wage and Number of Hours per week: $20.00 per hour, 35 hours per week plus overtime, when necessary, two days off per week (Saturday & Sunday)
