Position Title: Autism Support Worker (NOC 44101)

Job Duties:
– Care for and supervise a nine-year-old child with autism
– Help the child with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene
– Assist and supervise the child while swimming
– Take the child for walks and other physical activities
– Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
– Follow the child’s dietary needs
– Play with the child and provide companionship
– Support the child’s daily routine and activities
– Help the child communicate and manage emotions
– Keep the child’s room and play areas clean
– Wash the child’s clothing and bedding
– Shop for food and household supplies
– Report any concerns to the parents
Employment Requirements:
Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent, 30-40 hours/week
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Wage: $22.60/hour
Language of work: English
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
