WORK IN ELDERLY CLIENTS HOME:

1 Vacancy, fulltime position starting immediately. English speaking client,

WAGE: $20.85-$22.00 PER HOUR. 30-40 hour work week overtime paid after 40 hours as prescribed by legislation

EDUCATION: Secondary (high school diploma or equivalent experience of 2 years and less than 3 years)

WORK SITE ENVIRONMENT: non-smoking work setting, optional accommodations available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is NOT a condition of employment.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Elderly female with disabilities

SECURITY AND SAFETY: criminal record check, weight handling up to 9kg’s (20 lbs), personal suitability, punctuality, client focused, dependability, flexibility, initiative, good judgement, organized and reliable.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Change non-sterile dressings
Collect specimens
Launder clothing and household linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Cook
