Job Details
Salary: $16.50 – $20.00 per hour /30 – 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full time, non-seasonal
Shift and Schedule: 8 hour shift, 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, day shift, night shift, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
Start Date: as soon as possible
Number of Vacancies: 04
Experience: will train

Job Duties:
• Cut, clean and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
• Opens and removes raw materials and places on belts.
• Segregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on
designated conveyors.
• Discards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign matter.
• Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, cans, totes or crates for storage or shipment.
• Operates machine(s) to move live or packed seafood from place to place.
• Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety

  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Ability to work flexible shifts – early mornings and late evenings
  • Comfortable working in cold and wet conditions

Weight handling: more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Bring your own tools, steel-toed safety boots and hard hat
Employer provide: gloves and masks

Additional pay: Overtime pay
