Overview
Job title- In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment- This job is for a full-time position – (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Language required is English.
Salary- Wage offered is $22 per hour, Job start date is October 5, 2026
Location- Private client lives in the city of Charlottetown, in Prince Edward Island. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a woman with a physical disability
2- Shop for food and household supplies
3- Assist employer with her daily needs
4- Drive employer to and from appointments
5- Run errands for the employer
6- Plan, prepare, cook and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
7- General housework that will include doing laundry and some ironing
8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
9- Travel with employer is required, employer will pay for all travel expenses
10- Nighttime care including foot massage
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education.
2- Must have at least two years of work-related experience as a caregiver and domestic worker or equivalent training
3- Must be dependable, honest, discreet, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
