Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position, between 30 and 40 hours per week. Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is June 30, 2026.
Language requirement: English.
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.
Location: RaCr… lives in Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood; school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (#104, #138, #420). The major intersection is Chem. de la Côte Saint-Luc and Boul. Cavendish.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a two children ages 7 and 4 years old. Eldest child suffers from a chronic medical condition and requires special care and attention
2- Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
3- Help with the care and supervision of the children, especially when parents are not home.
4- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
5- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
6- General housework that will include doing laundry.
7- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
