Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position, between 30 and 40 hours per week. Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is July 1, 2026.
Language requirement: French or English.
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.
Location: TaAb… lives in Hampstead, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood; school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is Ave Fleet and Boul. Cavendish.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of two children: a 6 year old and a 3 year old. A third child is expected for July 2026.
2- Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
3- Bathe and feed youngest children. After the baby is born, change diapers and prepare the baby for naps
4- Supervise children when mother is not home.
5- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
6- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
7- General housework that will include doing laundry.
8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
