Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is March 1, 2026.
Language requirement: French or English.
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.
Location: ChLo… lives in Verdun, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is Avenue des somets and Chemin De la Point S.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a 6 year old and 3 year old child. The younger child suffers from a chronic health condition and requires special attention
2- Help with toilet training the youngest
3- Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
4- Bathe children as needed
5- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
6- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
7- General housework that will include doing laundry.
8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
