Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is January 1, 2027
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $21 per hour.
Location: JoNa… lives in Outremont, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is Bd St Joseph O and Chem. De la Côte-Sainte-Catherine
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of two children aged 6 and 3 years old, as well as their father who suffers from a chronic condition.
2- Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
3- Help with the care and supervision of the children, especially when parents are not home.
4- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
5- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
6- General housework that will include doing laundry.
7- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
8- Help father with tasks of basic daily living, especially during flare-ups of his illness
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
