Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is March 1, 2026
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.
Location: JiCo… live in the city of Westmount, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus #124 and #138). The major intersection is Sherbrooke O. St. and Décarie Ave.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to care for an elderly couple who have multiple age-related heath issues
3- Help with daily routine including personal hygiene, dressing, and medications
4- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
5- General housework that will include doing laundry, and dusting
6- Provide care and companionship, and accompaniment to activities outside the home
7- May require travel to Florida in the winter months, Employer will pay travel expenses
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
