Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for one baby in Hamilton, ON for Hopkins family. $19.68-$21.00 per hour for a 42.5 hr work week. Salary depends on experience. Overtime required from 45-48 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday & Sunday. Six months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Must be flexible. Job hours–7:00am-3:30 pm. Mid-Day Breaks. Job located in Hamilton, ON (The Delta Area). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for baby in employer’s residence. Bathe, dress, plan, cook meals and feed baby. Change diapers for baby. Bottle preparation for baby. Light housekeeping for baby. Oversee activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct baby in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of baby and support social development. Discipline baby according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
