Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for one toddler in Toronto for Webster family. $20.85-$22.00 per hour for a 44-hr work week. Salary depends on experience. Overtime may be required from 45-48 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday. Six months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Must be flexible. Job hours–7:30 am-6:00 pm (mid-day break) Mon-Fri. Job located in Toronto, ON (Bloor & Castlefrank). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for child in employer’s residence. Bathe, dress, plan, cook meals and feed child. Change diapers. Light housekeeping for child. Oversee activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct child in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of child and support social development. Discipline child according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
