•Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (from 08:00 am – 4:00 pm)

•Salary: $18 hourly / 40 hours per week

•Employment type: Permanent employment, Full-time

•Location: 211-730 East 8th Ave., Vancouver, BC

 

Job Description:

•Care for and supervise child at home

•Bathe, dress, and feed child

•Cook and serve meals for child, with some light housekeeping

•Follow parents’ instructions for meals, rest, and daily routines

•Keep the home safe and healthy for child

•Teach child good hygiene habits

•Support child’s emotional needs and social growth

•Guide child’s behavior as directed by parents

•Plan learning and play activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings

•Take child to school, appointments, and activities

•Record daily routines and health information when needed

 

Job Requirements:

•The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation.

•Childcare experience preferred.

• Spanish-speaking is an asset.

 

Work setting:

The candidate should work in the employer’s home at 211-730 East 8th Ave., Vancouver, BC
