Our family is looking for a home childcare provider.

 

Job Description:

Position: Home childcare provider (NOC 44100)

Employer: Hongyu Li / Xiaoxin Zhang

Home Address: 1470 5 Ave, Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

Work Location: Same as above

Number of Vacancy: 1

Wage: $18.00 per hour ($27.00 per hour for any working hours exceeding 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week)

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Language: English

Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job Duties:

– Maintain a safe and healthy environment for a child in the home.

– Nurturing a child at employer’s residence (child born in 2017).

– Help the child with a bath and dress them.

– Plan and Prepare meals for child and serve the meal. Additionally, supervise mealtimes.

– Provide age-appropriate daily activities for the child.

– Support to develop child’s emotional and social development.

– Follow the daily routine as instructed (including rest time) by parents.

 

Job Requirements:

-Education: No formal education is required.

-Experience: Childcare experience is not essential, but an asset.

-Criminal record check is required.
