Job Title: Home Child Care Provider

Working Location: Richmond, BC, V7C 5W8

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $20.00/hour

Working hours per week: 35

Language: Basic English

Benefits: Paid Vacation (10 days of paid vacation or 4% vacation pay)

Job Duties

·       Tend to the psychical and emotional well-being of children

·       Drop off/pick up children from school and extracurricular activities (if needed)

·       Supervise and care for children at our home

·       Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to the need of children

·       Organize and coordinate activities such as games and outings for children and oversee these activities

·       Assist with daily routines, including dressing and school preparation.

·       Light housekeeping related to the children (e.g., tidying up after meals, laundry, organizing toys)

·       Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

·       Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all time

Job Requirements

·       Completion of high school

·       Relevant experience is an asset. Will train.

·       First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)

·       Patience, empathy, and genuine love for children.

·       Non-smoker
