Overview

 

We are looking for a home caregiver to take care of our child.

 

– Work Location: 886 Calverhall Street, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1X9 (Private household)

– Wage: $20/Hour + Vacation fee (4% of gross salary)

– Hours: 30 Hours per Week (Full-time, Permanent)

– Care Recipient: 6 years old Child

 

++ Requirements

– Education/Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required AND childcare/caregiver training OR related experience as a caregiver is an asset.

-Security and Safety: Medical exam, Criminal record check, Reference required

-Work Site Environment: Work in employer’s home, Non-smoking

-Personal Suitability: Organized, Reliability, Team player, Excellent written communication

 

++ Main Duties

-Organize, activities such as games and outings for child

– Supervise and care for child

– Prepare and serve nutritious meals

– Prepare child for rest periods

– Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

– Take child to and from school and to appointments

– Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

 

++ Additional

– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

– Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

– Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens

– Shop for food and household supplies
