Our family is looking for a home support worker.

 

Job Description:

Position: Home Support Worker

Employer: Lim’s Residence

Home Address: Burnaby, BC, V5C 0N8

Work Location: Same as above

Number of Vacant: 1

Wage: $24.50 per hour

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Language: English

Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job Duties:

· Provide companionship to elderly clients in their homes.

· Provide personal care such as bathing and personal hygiene.

· Prepare and serve meals, including special diets, and assist with feeding when required.

· Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and bed-making to maintain a safe environment.

· Support basic health-related needs under supervision, including changing non-sterile dressings and assisting with medications.

 

Job Requirements:

Education: No formal education is required but completion of high school is an asset.

Experience: No previous work experience is required but an asset.

Certification: Health Care Aide Certificate is required.

*Criminal record check is required.
