Job Description:
Position: Child caregiver
Employer: Kim’s Family
Business Address: Private Home – Surrey, BC (V3T 0B1)
Work Location: Same as above
Number of Vacancy: 1
Wage: $20.00/hour
Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
Language: English
Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
– Bathe, dress, and feed children, ensuring all personal hygiene needs are met.
– Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
– Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home at all times.
– Accompany children to and from daycare, school, and other scheduled appointments.
– Prepare children for rest periods
– Supervise and care for children
Job Requirements:
-Education: No formal education is required.
-Experience: Child care experience is not essential, but an asset.
-Demonstrated ability to perform work is required.
-Criminal record check is required.
-Class 5 Driver’s license is an asset.
-First aid certification and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training is required.
