Wage: $20.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30hrs – 40hrs/week

Number of Positions: 1

Benefit: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation as a vacation reimbursement.

Job Duties:

·       Supervise and care for the toddler(born in April 2024) in the employer’s home

·       Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the toddler, and assist the toddler with feeding.

·       Bathe, dress, and assist with daily routines

·       Change diapers as needed

·       Oversee the toddler’s schedules including meals, nap times, and daycare routines

·       Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment

·       Instruct the toddler in personal hygiene and social manners

·       Support the toddler’s emotional well-being and social development

·       Accompany the toddler to and from daycare and scheduled activities

·       Keep daily records of activities, meals, naps, and health observation

 

Skill Requirements:

·       Education: Completion of high school is required.

·       Experience: Previous child care or household management experience is an asset.

·       First Aid and CPR training is an asset.

·       Criminal background check is required.

·       Language: English
