Home Support Worker – Disabled / Elderly  (NOC 44101)

Location: Victoria, BC, V8R 1G6
Work location:  On site, employer’s home
Salary $24.65 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment:   Permanent employment, Full time

Early morning, Evening, Shift, Morning, Night, On call, Day, Weekend, Overtime required, Overtime available

Starts as soon as possible

On site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Change non-sterile dressings
Collect specimens
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Cook
