Romo’s family is looking for a Home Child Care Provider.

 

Job Description:

Position: Home Child Care Provider

Employer: Romo’s residence

Home Address: Vancouver, BC

Work Location: Same as home address

Number of Vacant: 1

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week (Early morning and weekend hours may be required depending on the family’s needs.)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Language: English

Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job Duties:

– Maintain safe environment for a child.

– Supervise and care for a child at employer’s own residence.

– Prepare meals for a child and serve the meal. Additionally, supervise meal time.

– Provide age-appropriate daily activities for a child.

– Support to develop a child’s emotional and social development.

– Follow the daily routine as instructed (including rest time) by parents.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: No formal education is required.

– Experience: Childcare experience is not essential, but an asset.

– Criminal record check is required.

– First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate are required.

– Driver’s license class 5 is required.

– Responsible Adult course completion is an asset.
