Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform under pressure, maintain attention to detail, stand for extended periods, and work in a combination of sitting, standing and walking. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent oral communication, effective interpersonal skills, initiative, flexibility, dependability, client focus, and the ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

·         Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food;

·         Establish methods to meet work schedules and assign duties to staff;

·         Train staff in job duties, sanitation standards, safety procedures, and company policies;

·         Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and onboarding new staff;

·         Monitor employee performance and provide direction and support;

·         Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation;

·         Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;

·         Address customers’ complaints or concerns;

·         Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;

·         Prepare and submit operational reports;

·         Ensure compliance with workplace safety and employment standards; and

·         Support the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
