Personal Support Worker
Job Title: Personal Support Worker (NOC 44101)
Employer: Stoycheva Private Household
Location: Victoria, BC
Vacancy: 1
Wage: 24.65/hr for 30 hours per week

Terms of employment: permanent
Start Date: as soon as possible
Job Requirements:
Languages
· English
Education
· Minimum education: Secondary education
· Education in caregiving is an asset
Experience
· At least 1 -2 years of work as a caregiver or related field.
Duties:
· Pick up prescription medications and medication from pharmacy
· Help with grocery shopping
· Help with food preparation and cooking
· Assist client with activities of daily living, personal care
· Perform light housekeeping
· Provide companionship, provide personal care
· Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
· Help and assist with Walking and other exercises prescribed by the physiotherapist, use red light therapy devices to put on and off client depending which area of the body is soar (assist with reducing inflammation).
· Assist with lifting and organizing household items.
Work Setting
· Optional Accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note This is not a condition of employment
· Work in employer’s home
