Overview
We require a Patient Care Aide to support residents with their daily living activities, promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being in a nursing home setting.
Duties Include:
Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
Perform other duties related to personal care
Supply and empty bed pans
Serve meal trays and feed patients
Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
Supervise patients’ exercise routines
Bathe, dress and groom patients
Answer call signals to determine patients’ needs
$22.90/ hr, 35-40 hours per week. Monday- Friday
This is a permanent position
7 months to less then 1 year experience, and completion of high school diploma required and PSW Certificate.
Preference for this position will be given to Canadians, permanent residents, new immigrants, indigenous peoples, vulnerable youth, people with disabilities with appropriate experience, and the ability to speak and read English.
