Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Vacancy: 1 position

Job Type: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $32.00 /hour

Responsibilities:

-Prepare concrete to meet specific project requirements.
-Place and align forms to hold concrete in place.
-Spread, level, and smooth concrete using tools like screeds and trowels.
-Add curing compounds or surface finishes to strengthen and protect concrete.
-Ensure freshly poured concrete surfaces are protected from constantly changing weather conditions (covered, heat & hoarded accordingly).
-Use power saws to create expansion joints and prevent cracking.
-Patch and fix damaged concrete to restore functionality and appearance.
-Shape edges and add decorative features using hand and power tools.
-Follow all safety and quality control procedures

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
-Dusty, noisy, weather conditions, indoor/outdoor, at heights
-Moving heavy objects and physical demanding
-Tight deadlines

Personal Suitability:
-Follow instruction, accurate, team player.
-Ability to operate large machinery and use tools.

Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required.
-Experience is an asset.
