Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Wage：$20 per hour

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week

Daily Schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (including a 1-hour unpaid break)

Work Location: Burnaby BC, V5E 4A3

We are looking for a responsible and patient full-time caregiver to care for our young baby.

Job Duties:

-Comprehensive Daily Care: Supervise and care for children in a full-time capacity; facilitate daily routines including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
-Safety & Wellness: Maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home; monitor children’s activities at all times to prevent accidents and ensure their well-being.
-Behavioral Guidance: Discipline children strictly according to the specific methods and philosophies requested by the parents.
-Educational & Social Development: Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, such as indoor/outdoor games, crafts, and educational outings to stimulate physical and mental growth.
-Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious and balanced meals and snacks throughout the day.
-Health Documentation: Keep accurate and detailed records of daily activities, including sleep schedules, dietary intake, and any health-related information or milestones.
-Transportation: Safely take children to and from school, daycare, and various scheduled appointments (medical, dental, or extracurricular).
-Community Engagement: Escort children on outings to parks, libraries, or community centers as part of their daily enrichment.
-Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of the children’s areas and common living spaces.
-Organization: Ensure toys, equipment, and children’s laundry are kept tidy and organized.

Qualifications:

– Experience in chid caregiving is preferred.
– Must hold a valid BC Driver’s License.
– Patience, caring, understanding ,and a positive attitude.
– First aid certification or CPR is an advantage.
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
