Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for one baby and one toddler in Burlington, ON for Hopkins family. $20.85-$22.00 per hour for a 40-hr work week. Salary depends on experience. Overtime required from 45-48 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Six months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Must be flexible. Job hours–7:30am-3:3 pm. Two days off per week on Saturday & Sunday. Job Located in Burlington, ON. (Plains Rd West & North Shore Blvd. West). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for toddler & baby in employer’s residence. Bathe, dress, plan, cook meals and feed child. Light housekeeping for child. Oversee activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct child in personal hygiene. Bottle preparation and feeding for toddler & baby. Diaper changing. Tend to the emotional well-being of child & baby and support social development. Discipline according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
